DeletePike from little streams and tiny rivers are a different animal, so easily spooked, they examine the bait and nine times out of ten leave it or spit it out instantly. But the reward when you get one goes far beyond weight - cracking fish!

DeletePristine, looks similar to the pike in my closest river, hard to catch but alawyworth the effort.
ReplyDeleteThe clear rivers seem to create pristine fish, its not just the Pike that look awesome.
